Experiential Learning Program for Graduate Students

You are here: Home / Workforce Development / Graduates / Experiential Learning Program for Graduate Students

PATHS-UP Fellows (graduate students) are expected to work collaboratively toward the common vision of PATHS-UP, and in the process, build a culture of excellence in innovation, inclusion, and sustainability. Any graduate student funded by PATHS-UP is required to be a PATHS-UP Fellow and a graduate student working on a PATHS-UP project, but not funded by PATHS-UP, may optionally be a Fellow.

The requirements of a PATHS-UP Fellow are described in the attached document: Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Professional Development Toolkit. One requirement is the completion of an experiential learning component. These immersive experiences may be in a testbed, with industry partners (i.e. internship, co-op, job shadowing), or at a foreign institution as well as other strategic activities (e.g. lab exchange with a partner institution).
