- Dr. Souptik Barua from Rice for research in A Computational Framework to Discover Temporal Biomarkers of Type-2 Diabetes in a Low-income Cohort of Latino Participants
- Dr. Hye-Chung Kum from Texas A&M University for research in Effective Remote Monitoring Systems to Manage Hypertension for the Underserved Population in Texas
- Dr. Daniel T. Kamei from University of California, Los Angeles for research in Point-of-Care Device for Therapeutic Drug Monitoring in Heart Failure and Arrhythmia Patients
