The Texas A&M Precise Advanced Technologies and Health Systems for Underserved Populations (PATHS-UP) has been working since September 2017 to study remote wearable technology to help people monitor and manage diabetes and heart disease in underserved communities.

Dr. Prioleau is currently a PATHS-UP postdoctoral fellow doing research under the advisement of Dr. Sabharwal and Dr. Veeraraghavan at Rice University. She has been working on PATHS-UP activities since the very beginning, lending her expertise and enthusiasm even before receiving the official award notification.

A poster presentation by a team of researchers in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University, received runner up for Best Poster Award in the student poster competition at the 2018 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Conference on Body Sensor Networks in March.
